Dr. Franzoni was born and raised in Northern New Jersey before attending college in Connecticut. He graduated with a B.S. in biology from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut in 1991. He earned his M.D. from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1995 where he received recognition for outstanding performance in urology.
Dr. Franzoni completed two years of general surgery followed by four years of adult and pediatric urologic surgical training at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He conducted scientific research in renal obstruction, which has been presented at international forums and published in journals. In addition, he has conducted clinical research in multiple areas of urology and has published his work in a number of urological journals.
Dr. Franzoni brings to our practice formal state-of-the-art training in all urological disciplines, with particular expertise in urinary incontinence, urologic oncology, stone disease, and voiding dysfunction.
