Charles F. Rilli, M.D.
Dr. Rilli founded Essex-Hudson Urology in 1990. A graduate of the New Jersey Medical School, he completed general and urologic surgery training at UMDNJ/ New Jersey Medical School in Newark and affiliated hospitals.
Dr. Rilli is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and is a clinical assistant professor of urology at the New Jersey Medical School.

David F. Franzoni, M.D.
Dr. Franzoni was born and raised in Northern New Jersey before attending college in Connecticut. He graduated with a B.S. in biology from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut in 1991. He earned his M.D. from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1995 where he received recognition for outstanding performance in urology.
Dr. Franzoni completed two years of general surgery followed by four years of adult and pediatric urologic surgical training at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He conducted scientific research in renal obstruction, which has been presented at international forums and published in journals. In addition, he has conducted clinical research in multiple areas of urology and has published his work in a number of urological journals.
Dr. Franzoni brings to our practice formal state-of-the-art training in all urological disciplines, with particular expertise in urinary incontinece, urologic oncology, stone diesase, and voiding dysfunction.

David S. Wu, M.D.
Dr. Wu completed his urologic and general surgery training at the University of California at San Francisco.
Dr. Wu was named valedictorian of Harlingen High School in Harlingen, Texas, before pursuing his premedical studies at Harvard University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard with highest honors in biology, a Stride Rite Scholar. He won a Harvard College Scholarship in each of his years, and earned his M.D. from the Johns Hopkins Medical School.

Ken Hsieh, M.D.
Dr. Hsieh completed his general and urologic surgery training at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine - Montefiore Medical Center program in New York City.
Dr. Hsieh completed premedical studies at the University of California at Berkeley before earning his medical degree from the State University of New York - Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn.

Robert P. Caruso, M.D.
Dr. Caruso completed his General and Urologic Surgery training at New York University. He then completed a Clinical Fellowship in Robotic and Laparoscopic Urologic Surgery in San Antonio, Texas.
As a resident and fellowship physician he co-authored text book chapters on transperitoneal laparoscopic radical nephrectomy, lasers in urology, and published articles on robot-assisted surgery and prostate cancer.
A native of northern New Jersey, Dr. Caruso pursued his premedical studies at Montclair State College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He then earned his M.D. from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School in Newark where he graduated with honors (Alpha Omega Alpha) and won several awards at graduation.
Dr. Caruso has a particular interest in minimally invasive treatments for prostate and kidney cancer including laparoscopic and robot-assisted surgery. He is experienced in other state of the art therapies for cancer and benign diseases including cryoablation, radio frequency ablation, and various types of laser treatments.

Sal Lombardo, M.D.
Dr. Lombardo attended William Paterson University in New Jersey where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Dr. Lombardo earned his medical degree from Hahnemann School of Medicine in Pennsylvania where he was awarded the Ellsworth Scholarship.
He completed his Urology residency at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School where he was awarded the "Outstanding Laparoscopic Resident Surgeon Award".
Dr. Lombardo's interests focus on laparoscopic and robotic surgery, urologic oncology, urinary incontinence, stone disease and voiding dysfunction.
Dr. Lombardo is fluent in Italian and Spanish.

Vlad Bargman, M.D.
Dr. Bargman completed his Urologic and General Surgery training at UMDNJ/New Jersey Medical School and affiliated hospitals. He then successfully completed an additional fellowship-training year at Indiana University School of Medicine in Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery.
Dr. Bargman completed pre-medical studies at New York University before earning his medical degree at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. Dr. Bargman brings to our practice additional expertise in new state of the art robotic and minimally invasive procedures. A native of Odessa, Ukraine, Dr. Bargman is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish and Portuguese. Dr. Bargman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology.
